काशीपुर। नशे की बढ़ती लत चिंता का विषय बनती जा रहा है इसलिए युवाओं को खेल की ओर आकर्षित करने के लिए लक्ष्मीपुर पट्टी में सनराइज वॉलीबॉल क्लब काशीपुर द्वारा वॉलीबॉल प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें कई टीमों ने प्रतिभाग किया।
टूर्नामेंट में पूर्व पार्षद अब्दुल कादिर ने बतौर मुख्य अतिथि प्रतिभाग किया तथा विजेता टीम को पुरस्कृत किया साथ ही पूर्व पार्षद अब्दुल कादिर ने युवाओं को यह संदेश दिया है कि जो लोग नशे की लत में पड़े हैं वह अपना परिवार बर्बाद कर रहे हैं कृपया नशा छोड़कर खेलों में अपना ध्यान लगाए ताकि हम आने वाली नस्लों को बर्बाद होने से रोक सकें। पूर्व पार्षद अब्दुल कादिर ने कहा कि इस तरह के आयोजनों में वह युवाओं का हर संभव सहयोग करने को तैयार हैं। इस मौके पर काशीपुर युवा कांग्रेस के विधानसभा अध्यक्ष वसीम अकरम, शाहनवाज शानु, हशमत सैफी, अकरम सैफी, सिराज खान, शादाब चौधरी, सरफराज, आस मौहम्मद आशु खान फहीम चौधरी, मौहम्मद सादिक, मोहोसिन अयान, फैजल, शानू सैफ अली, मुन्ना आदि खेलों में रुचि रखने वाले लोग उपस्थित रहे।
