देहरादून। खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा है कि ब्लॉक स्तर पर ओपन जिम खोलने का काम जल्द शुरू होगा। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को इसके लिए जमीन चिन्हित करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। शुक्रवार को अपने आवास पर खेल विभाग की समीक्षा बैठक के बाद मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि पूर्व में की गई घोषणा के क्रम में ब्लॉक स्तर पर ओपन जिम खोलने को लेकर विभाग ने प्रस्ताव तैयार कर लिया है। शासनादेश जारी होने साथ ही विभागीय अधिकारी भूमि चयन की प्रक्रिया प्रारंभ कर दें। उन्होंने कहा कि विभिन्न जिलों में भ्रमण के दौरान युवक मंगल और महिला मंगल दलों ने उनसे इसकी मांग की थी, जो अब पूरी होने जा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि ओपन जिम हर वर्ग के व्यक्ति की स्वास्थ्य की देखभाल करेगा। साथ ही प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के फिट इंडिया मुहिम अभियान को सार्थक करेगा।
