बाजपुर। पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री और गदरपुर विधायक अरविन्द पांडेय ने चीनी मिल अतिथि गृह में शुक्रवार को पत्रकार वार्ता की। उन्होंने कहा कि 18 दिसंबर को रूद्रपुर में होने वाला भाजपा युवा सिक्ख सम्मेलन ऐतिहासिक होगा। कहा कि तराई में भाजपा को स्थापित करने में सिख समाज ने अहम भूमिका निभाई है। क्षेत्र से बड़ी संख्या में सिख समाज के युवा सम्मेलन में अपनी भागीदारी सुनिश्चित कराएंगे। कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी भारत को विश्व गुरु और आर्थिक शक्ति बनाने में जुटे हैं। वहीं बाजपुर भूमि बचाओ आंदोलनकारियों द्वारा सम्मेलन के विरोध को टाले जाने पर उन्होंने आंदोलनकारियों का शुक्रिया अदा करते हुए कहा कि बाजपुर के किसानों ने सीएम पुष्कर सिंह धामी पर जो विश्वास जताया है, उसपर वह निश्चित रूप से खरा उतरेंगे। बाजपुर भूमि प्रकरण को लेकर पूरी भाजपा सरकार बेहद चिंतित है। जिस प्रकार किसानों ने मुख्यमंत्री की ओर हाथ बढ़ाया है, वैसे ही मुख्यमंत्री धामी भी किसानों का हाथ जरूर थामेंगे। उम्मीद है कि 18 दिसंबर को होने वाले सम्मेलन में सीएम धामी बाजपुर वासियों को भूमिधरी अधिकार देंगे। पाण्डेय ने कहा कि उन्होंने सत्तापक्ष में रहते हुए सर्वप्रथम बाजपुर भूमि प्रकरण को विधानसभा में उठाया। जब तक समस्या का निदान नहीं हो जाता तब तक संघर्ष जारी रहेगा। हर हाल में बाजपुर वासियों को उनके भूमिधरी अधिकार वापिस दिलाये जाएंगे। इस मौके पर मेजर सिंह, मंजीत सिंह ‘राजू, महा सिंह, जगजीत सिंह, गुरदीप सिंह ‘बिल्लू, हरपाल सिंह राणा, जसपाल सिंह, दलविन्दर सिंह, गुरपाल सिंह, गुरदीप सिंह, सुखजीत सिंह ‘डिम्पी, रघुवीर सिंह ‘रिक्की, गुरदेव लाहौरिया, निम्मा नामधारी, हरपिन्दर सिंह बाजवा, निर्मल सिंह, लक्की सोही, बलवीर सिंह ‘साबू, जसविन्दर सिंह, तजिन्दर सिंह चीमा आदि थे।
