काशीपुर। श्रमिकों को लेकर फैक्ट्री जा रही बस पलटने से एक श्रमिक की दर्दनाक मौत हो गई जबकि डेढ़ दर्जन से भी अधिक लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया।
जानकारी के अनुसार रामनगर रोड स्थित एक फैक्ट्री के श्रमिक अपनी ड्यूटी पूरी करके बस संख्या यूके-04 पीए-0137 से अपने घर आ रहे थे कि रामनगर रोड स्थित ग्राम धनोरी के पास बस के चालक ने बस से नियंत्रण खो दिया और बस रोड के किनारे पलट गई। बस में सवार महिलाओं और पुरुषों की चीख-पुकार सुन राहगीरों ने बस के भीतर फंसे लोगों को कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद बस के बाहर निकाला। इस दौरान एक श्रमिक सन्नी पुत्र शंकर प्रसाद निवासी सैनिक कालोनी गौशाला मोड़ की बस में गंभीर चोटें लगने के कारण मौत हो गई। सूचना पर पुलिस प्रशासन तथा तहसीलदार युसूफ अली भी मौके पर पहुंच गए और घायलों को एलडी भट्ट राजकीय चिकित्सालय पहुंचाया। जहां से कुछ श्रमिकों को निजी चिकित्सालयों में भर्ती कराया गया। बस के अंदर तीन दर्जन से अधिक श्रमिक सवार थे, जिनमें अधिकतर महिलाएं थीं। घायलों में रुखसाना पत्नी नवाब जान निवासी प्रतापपुर, मीनू पत्नी उदल सिंह निवासी चिलकिया बसंती, पत्नी रवि सिंह निवासी चिलकिया, मीना पत्नी आलम सिंह रावत पीरूमदारा, पूजा पत्नी महेंद्र सिंह, अर्चना पत्नी जितेंद्र कुमार पीरूमदारा, सत्येंद्र पुत्र चंचल सिंह पीरुमदारा, चंद्रपाल पुत्र महिपाल पीरुमदारा, सुनीता पत्नी राजेंद्र रामनगर, भगवती पुत्री सुरेश चिल्किया टांडा आदि शामिल हैं। पुलिस ने मृतक सन्नी के शव को कब्जे मे लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है।
