जसपुर। उत्तराखंड के तराई पश्चिम वन प्रभाग पतरामपुर रेंज के गांव हजीरो में शाम ढलते ही जंगली जानवर ग्रामीण इलाकों में घुसकर किसानों की फसलें बर्बाद कर देते हैं। इसके बावजूद वन विभाग का कोई भी अधिकारी किसानों की पीड़ा सुनने को तैयार नहीं है। जंगली जानवरों के आतंक के चलते किसान रातभर जागकर खेतों में फसलों की रखवाली करने के लिए मजबूर हैं। आलम ये है कि जंगली जानवरो के नुकसान के चलते किसान बुरी तरह कर्जे के बोझ में दबा हुआ है तथा भुखमरी की कगार पर है। पीड़ित किसानों का कहना है कि वन विभाग के अधिकारियों से कई बार शिकायत की गई है, लेकिन कोई भी अधिकारी किसानों की समस्या पर ध्यान देने को तैयार नहीं है। वहीं पिछले 10 दिनों में हाथियों ने किसानों की कई एकड़ धान की और गन्ने की फसलों को रौंदकर बर्बाद कर दिया। उधर पीड़ित किसानों का कहना है कि तराई पश्चिम वन प्रभाग जंगली जानवरों द्वारा बर्बाद फसलों का मुआवजा भी नहीं देता है। ऐसे हालत में इन पीड़ित किसानों का दुखड़ा कोन सुने।
