जोधपुर । राजस्थान सरकार की एक इंजीनियर को चार जनवरी को एक कार्यक्रम के दौरान राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू के सुरक्षा प्रोटोकॉल का उल्लंघन करने और उनके पैर छूने की कोशिश करने के मामले में शुक्रवार को निलंबित कर दिया गया। लोक स्वास्थ्य यांत्रिकी विभाग ने गृह मंत्रालय के हस्तक्षेप के बाद इंजीनियर को निलंबित कर दिया। विभाग के मुख्य इंजीनियर (प्रशासन) के आदेश में कहा गया है कि विभाग की कनिष्ठ इंजीनियर अंबा सियोल ने चार जनवरी को रोहेत में स्काउट गाइड जंबोरी के उद्घाटन कार्यक्रम में राष्ट्रपति के पैर छूने की कोशिश कर प्रोटोकॉल को तोड़ा है लिहाजा उन्हें राजस्थान लोक सेवा नियमों के तहत तत्काल प्रभाव से निलंबित किया जाता है। सियोल पानी की व्यवस्था देखने के लिए कार्यक्रम स्थल पर थी लेकिन राष्ट्रपति के सुरक्षा घेरे को तोड़ते हुए वह उन अधिकारियों की अग्रिम पंक्ति तक पहुंचने में सफल रहीं जो राष्ट्रपति का स्वागत करने के लिए वहां मौजूद थे। उन्होंने आगे बढ़कर राष्ट्रपति के पैर छूने की कोशिश की लेकिन राष्ट्रपति के सुरक्षाकर्मियों ने उन्हें रोक दिया। स्थानीय पुलिस ने पूछताछ के बाद उन्हें छोड़ दिया था। केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने इस घटना को राष्ट्रपति की सुरक्षा में गंभीर चूक मानते हुए इसे गंभीरता से लिया और राजस्थान पुलिस से रिपोर्ट मांगी।
