रूद्रपुर 28 अक्टूबर 2022- जिलाधिकारी युगल किशोर पंत ने आज रूद्रपुर में बन रहे कम्प्रेस बायो गैस (सीबीजी) प्लांट का निरीक्षण किया। उन्होने सीबीजी के प्रोजेक्ट मैनेजर विकास कुमार को निर्देश दिये कि कार्यों में तेजी लाते हुए 15 नवम्बर 2022 तक पहला चरण की वेस्ट प्रोसेसिंग प्रारम्भ करना सुनिश्चित करें। उन्होने प्लांट में हो रहे निर्माण कार्य की जानकारी ली।
इसके उपरान्त जिलाधिकारी ने शहर के सोनिया होटल के पास, भदईपुरा, किच्छा बाईपास रोड मे इण्डस्ट्रीयल एरिया, मोदी मैदान आदि विभिन्न स्थानों पर बने कूड़े के ढेरों का निरीक्षण किया। उन्होने नगर आयुक्त विशाल मिश्रा को निर्देश दिये कि जिस दुकान/संस्थान के स्थान पर कूड़े का ढेर जमा है उसको नोटिस जारी करने व कूड़ा डालने वाले पर नियमानुसार चालान की कार्यवाही करना सुनिश्चि करें। उन्होने निर्देशित करते हुए कहा कि सार्वाजनिक स्थलों पर यदि कोई कूड़ा डालते हुए पाया जाता है तो नगर निगम सम्बन्धित के खिलाफ चालान की कार्यवाही करना सुनिश्चित करें। उन्होने पहाड़गंज में बने नगरीय ठोस एवं अपशिष्ट कूड़ा (लेंगेसी वेस्ट) प्लांट का निरीक्षण किया।
मुख्य विकास अधिकारी/नगर आयुक्त विशाल मिश्रा ने बताया कि पहाड़गंज में बने नगरीय ठोस अपशिष्ट कूड़ा निस्तारण (लेंगेसी वेस्ट) द्वारा एक हजार बीस टन कूड़ा छांटकर अलग-अलग किया जा चुका है। उन्होने बताया कि अमजन को सूखा कूड़ा एवं गीला कूड़ा अलग-अलग करने एवं सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर कूड़ा न डालने के लिए जागरूकता अभियान व्यापक स्तर पर चलाया जा रहा है। उन्होने बताया कि सीबीजी प्लांट के प्रारम्भ होने से 10 टन कूड़ा प्रतिदिन निस्तारण कर काॅम्प्रेस बायो गैस बनेगा।इस अवसर पर मुख्य विकास अधिकारी विशाल मिश्रा, क्षेत्रीय प्रबन्धक प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड नरेश गोस्वामी, सहायक नगर आयुक्त राजू नबियाल आदि लोग उपस्थित थे।
