पीड़ित ने बताया कि बकाया रुपए मांगने से गुस्साए चचेरे मामू ने शराब के नशे में धुत होकर मेरे शरीर पर पेट्रोल छिड़क दिया और माचिस जलाकर मारने की कोशिश की। दरअसल मखदुमपुर थाना क्षेत्र के स्वर्णा बीघा गांव निवासी गौरव कुमार अपने बकाया राशि को लेकर भेलावर ओपी क्षेत्र के पैगंबरपुर गांव पहुंचे थे, जहां ममेरे भाई रवि रंजन कुमार से पैसे को लेकर तू-तू, मैं-मैं हो रही थी। इसी दौरान शराब के नशे में धुत होकर पहुंचे मामू राज किशोर यादव ने हंगामा शुरू कर दिया। पीड़ित की मानें तो उसकी ही मोटरसाइकिल से पेट्रोल निकालकर गौरव कुमार के शरीर पर छिड़क दिया और माचिस की तीली जलाकर फेंक दी।
इस घटना में गौरव कुमार के शरीर में आग लग गई। वो जलकर लहूलुहान हो गए। गंभीर रूप से घायल गौरव को लोगों की मदद से सदर अस्पताल जहानाबाद पहुंचाया गया। घटना की सूचना भेलावर ओपी की पुलिस को मिली। पुलिस भी घटनास्थल पहुंची और गंभीर रूप से जलकर घायल गौरव कुमार को इलाज के लिए सदर अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां डॉक्टरों ने इलाज के बाद गंभीर अवस्था को देखते हुए विशेष इलाज हेतु पटना पीएमसीएच रेफर कर दिया।
