किसानों ने बड़ी मशक्कत के बाद आग पर पाया काबू

किसानों के खेतों में गेहूं का कटे कटे पड़े लाक में अचानक दोपहर 3:00 बजे आग लग गई जिससे देखते ही देखते 1 दर्जन से अधिक किसानों का गेहूं जलकर राख हो गया । आग लगने की सूचना पर किसानों ने इसकी सूचना दमकल विभाग टीम को दी लेकिन दूसरे स्थान पर दमकल विभाग टीम होने के कारण टीम मौके पर नहीं पहुंची । किसानों ने ट्रैक्टर हैरो लेकर कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद आसपास में गेहूं के खेतों में खड़ी फसल पर लाक् को बचाया ।
कोतवाली क्षेत्र के गांव रमुना वाला निवासी गुरदेव सिहं पुत्र जीत सिंह का नौ बीघा गेहूं खेत में कटा पड़ा था जिस में अचानक आग लग गई आग लगने से गांव के अजब सिंह का 9 बीघा ठाकुरद्वारा निवासी चंदा खान का 13 बीघा विमलपुरा लक्ष्मीपुर के आधा दर्जन सहित एक दर्जन किसानों का 50 बीघा से अधिक गेहूं जलकर राख हो गया । इसी तरह किसानों ने अपने ट्रैक्टर आदि से हैरो चलाकर आसपास के क्षेत्र में रखे गेहूं को आग से बचाया । किसानों का आरोप है कि ठाकुरद्वारा दमकल विभाग में मात्र एक गाड़ी होने के कारण क्षेत्र में गर्मी के मौसम में फसलों में लगने वाली आग पर काबू नहीं पाया जा सकता और न ही समय पर गाड़ी पहुंचती है इसलिए यहां पर 2:00 वाली दमकल की माहिया कराई जाएं । किसानों ने गेहूं का आर्थिक मोर्चा दिलाए जाने की मांग की ।
