काशीपुर। कड़ाके की ठंड से राहगीरों को राहत पहुंचाने के लिए निगम ने अलाव जलाने का अभियान शुरू कर दिया है। शुक्रवार की रात्रि से इस अभियान की शुरुआत की
गई। बतादें कि लगातार बढ़ रही सर्दी के ग्राफ को देखते हुए नगर निगम प्रशासक जिलाधिकारी ने निराश्रितों के लिए अलाव जलाने की सुविधा शुरू करने के दिशा निर्देश जारी किए थे। जिसके बाद नगर निगम ने शुक्रवार की रात्रि में पांच स्थानों पर अलाव की सुविधा उपलब्ध करानी शुरू कर दी है। नगर निगम ने बीती रात बस स्टेशन, रेलवे स्टेशन, एमपी चौक, स्टेडियम, टांडा उज्जैन आदि स्थानों पर अलाव जलाने शुरू कर दिए है। एमएनए विवेक राय ने बताया कि सर्दी का प्रकोप बढ़ने पर अन्य स्थानों पर भी अलाव जलाने की प्रकिया शुरू की जाएगी।
