दरअसल, भांवरकोल अंतर्गत पखनपुरा गांव में बाल कटवाने को लेकर नाई और गांव के ही कुछ लड़कों में विवाद हो गया। मामला इतना बढ़ गया कि गुस्से में आकर नाई ने दुकान में रखी कैंची से युवकों पर हमला कर दिया,इससे 16 वर्षीय वारिस की मौत हो गई और उसके दोस्त सैफ की हालत नाजुक बनी हुई है।
एसपी गाजीपुर डॉ. ओम प्रकाश सिंह ने वारदात को गंभीरता से लेकर घटनास्थल का खुद मौका मुआयना किया और अस्पताल में घायल लड़के से भी मुलाकात की। उन्होंने घटना की पुष्टि करते हुए बताया कि आरोपी नाई और स्थानीय युवकों में लड़ाई झगड़ा होने लगा, जिस पर नाई आमिर ने वारिस और सैफ पर बाल काटने वाली कैंची से हमला बोल दिया। वारिस के पेट में कैंची लगी है और सैफ को भी पेट में कैंची से घाव हुआ है।वारिस को स्थानीय मोहम्दाबाद समुदायिक केंद्र पर इलाज हेतु लाया गया, जहां पर डॉक्टरों ने मृत घोषित कर दिया। सैफ को जिला अस्पताल गाजीपुर में इलाज हेतु एडमिट कराया गया है, वह खतरे से बाहर है लेकिन सैफ को बनारस रेफर किया गया।
